2011

The first line of code written to manage PDF documents in pure Go

2016

The domain unidoc.io registered on the 22nd of June 2016 - UniDoc was launched as an AGPL open-source software

2017

Our first corporate client and the first 100 stars on Github - UniDoc version 2 was launched

2018

The first 500 stars and the first 100 network members on GitHub UniDoc has decided to package its products as UniPDF and UniOffice

2019

UniDoc has more than 200 network members on GitHub and 24 contributors

  • UniPDF version 3 released
  • launched the UNCLI
  • UniOffice was added as a separate product

2020

More than 3000 stargazers on GitHub and 400 GitHub network members

  • integrated JBIG2 compression standard
  • growing list of forks and stars

2021

Multiple Enterprise-level features and Fortune 500 customers onboarded.

  • Word (docx), Excel (xlsx), Powerpoint (pptx) Office to PDF conversions
  • PDF/A creation and validation support
  • UniHTML product launched for HTML to PDF reports

2022

  • We developed report templates to significantly simplify report generation with a simple report markup format
  • Added GlobalSign integration for external digital signature support
  • DocMDP support for signatures
  • PDF/A-2 support added

2023

  • Full PAdES support reached for digital signatures
  • Report template library reached 15 practical ready-to-go examples
  • We’ve earned the ETSI Certificate for participation, showcasing our commitment to delivering high-quality and safe products for everyone
